Better Health

A lot of time the reason for our diet is looking better, or fitting back into your old favorite pair of jeans.  Yesterday I got some good news.  In fact it was better news than those superficial things.

My daughter took my blood pressure and found that is was way down in the normal range.  It was 120/80.  That is ideal.  Now I am still on meds but my pressures have been high.  I am starting to see the positive health benefits of losing weight and walking.

I feel very confident that by the end of the 90 Day Challenge I'll be off of my medications.

What is that worth?

  1. Being a nurse myself and "Flo" being a nurse, I am sure you know not to go off your BP meds until your dr. tells you to. Some people think when their BP gets down to the normal range that they don't need the meds. But the meds are what has made your BP normal. Some people can decrease their meds or go off completely when they have lost a lot of weight. My suggestion: Take your BP every day at approximately the same time, and write it down and take that to your dr. the next time you go. I am really glad you all are having success for your diet. Getting healthy as you reach your golden years is something all people should do. Have a good day.
